Barbie Girl In A Moschino World

Happy Halloween! Step aside Barbie, there's a new doll in town, and she's in head to toe Moschino rocking the runway. What better way to show off the latest Moschino Barbie fashion than transform into a doll for Halloween? Yeah, I know, I'm getting a little Life-Size-Tyra-Banks on you, but I can't help it. I was one of those little girls that was obsessed with the princesses, American Girl dolls, and of course my ultimate and forever favorite - the Barbie. From dream houses to countless outfit changes, I adored the doll. So, why be just Barbie when you could be a Moschino Barbie making your debut on the Milan Fashion week runway?

When you think of Barbie you think of pink everything so, I decided to take note from Jeremy Scott and show my love for Moschino in one of my Halloween costume ideas! I'm a Barbie girl in a Moschino world! This Totally Moschino tank holds a girly vintage charm that this Barbie girl totally had to have. I was definitely thinking pink when I slipped on my Moschino graphic printed skirt.

Guess what shoes this Barbie bought? Yep, these GUESS Beilan pumps gave the shine of the outfit with the gold toe. So simple, yet so beautifully Barbie!

Time to call Teresa...but I should really touch up my make-up too...easy! This doll just had to use her Moschino pink iPhone mirror case which can get the job done. This case makes me feel like I'm in somewhat of a fantastic hi-tech fairytale that's oozing with the color pink! Guess what? As much as I hate to see it go, I'm selling this,  Paris Hilton favorite, Moschino iPhone case on my store. Get it while you can...

Applying an eye popping bright pink lipstick and an even brighter blonde hairstyle, and I think I did a pretty decent job at transforming myself into a bright eye Barbie model. Now...where's Ken?

Couture, Candy, and Confetti

Step Inside My Closet Couture, Candy and Confetti - Candy Crush, The Confetti Bar, Kate Spade, The Shopping Bag, Halloween Costume, Halloween Candy Crush Costume
It looks as if I have fallen into a magical, scrumptious, and colorful candy wonderland...and I'm not sure that I ever want to leave!  Ever since the arrival of October, I've been getting more and more into the Halloween spirit. Along with the Halloween spirit is the long list of ideas that I have for my Halloween costumes, there's just so many to choose from! ...But then it came to me, candy!

Not only was I inspired by the treat aspect of Halloween day, but this Candy Crush Halloween costume was immensely inspired by The Confetti Bar Candy Corn mix. Sparkly, candy themed, and colorful, this confetti mix can make any Halloween party (or outfit!) shine. What I like about this confetti is that it's all hand mixed. Each batch is perfect for any occasion that's coming up for you, they even offer custom mixes! Planning a Halloween party? Get in the spirit with The Confetti Bar's Halloween inspired batches. From Candy Corn to a Wicked Witch's Brew, its the perfect party accessory to throw up in the air to celebrate!

Since candy and confetti is colorful, fun, and fresh, obviously my outfit for the costume had to be top notch. My yellow Robert Rodriguez Collection dress was inspired by the good ol' fashion candy corn. A fitted top and flared bottom dress is flattering for anyone. Plus, the neckline of this dress made it super fun and easy to play up the accessories.

Obviously fun accessories are going to come from The Shopping Bag! It's literally my go-to online boutique. The collections they've been releasing lately on their site are delicious. My love for the store only grew once I found their Theresa Jeweled Collar Necklace in blue. The different shades of blue picked up every color in the outfit (and candy!) and gave that perfect sparkle to the whole ensemble.

Kate Spade to me was the obvious choice from getting a clutch for this costume. Kate Spade's quirky and colorful items are a definite must have. This Multi-Colored gemclutch looked extremely candy-esque to me. It was the perfect colorful addition to the outfit to make everything pop even more.

Shoe time! Whoa, okay, you cannot disagree that these Steve Madden shoes are literally the cutest and playful pair of pumps you've ever seen in your life. They matched perfectly with my clutch and never missed a colorful beat from heel to toe. I fell head over heels for the gem detailing, it was just dazzling!

Thinking of tagging along with me into this Candy Crush Mania costume for Halloween? Let me know in the comments below if you are or simply what you're being this year!

October Fab Favorites

Happy October, everyone! Have you started planning your Halloween costumes yet? From day to day, week to week, month to month, products and accessories that we adore are quickly replaced by a new one that steals our hearts. So, I've decided to let you guys see what I'm crazy for this October!

Layering, layering, layering is my all time favorite obsession when it comes to bracelets or necklaces, so obviously I'm obsessed with The Shopping Bag's new Coco Chain and Pearl Strand Necklace. The name fits it perfectly doesn't it? It reminds me of Coco Chanel in a way. Not only do I love the name and layers of this necklace, but the ribbon tie that clasps it all together. Ribbon ties are best on necklaces because it looks adorable from the back if you have your hair up.

2. Maybelline Master Kajal Liner
Major make-up favorite right here. This new Maybelline liner makes lining your eyes incredibly easy. The pencil is unlike any other. It's so smooth, and goes on super easy - whether you're try to achieve the sassy cat eye or just want a simply daily look, this is definitely my go to beauty product.

3. My Burberry Perfume
From the first moment I saw the iconic Burberry ad with Cara Delevingne and Kate Moss, I knew I had to get my hands on this new perfume from Burberry, and I'm glad I did. Floral scents transport you to a dewy London garden in your own Burberry trench coat...yeah, I wish!

4. Cinnamon Buns Body Wash by Philosophy
I am completely obsessed with everything that evolves around autumn. Cinnamon to me really embodies what fall smells like...but again maybe that's really just me. Anyways, Philosophy's Cinnamon Buns wash literally smells like cinnamon buns are baking right in front of you in the shower. It's one of those body washes that can't help but make you smile it smells so sweet!

What can I say? Just grab me a pair of Uggs and call me a white girl, 'cause my taste buds are favoriting Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Latte. It is just the essence of autumn, you have to have it at least once! So embrace your inner white girl and take a selfie with your well deserved yummy hot drink.

6. Rouge Louboutin Nail Lacquer
Oops, another nail favorite - but this one is an ultimate forever favorite. The Rouge Louboutin Nail Lacquer had my jaw dropping from the moment it was announced that Christian Louboutin was coming out with a nail line, to the moment that my bottle finally arrived. I'm not sure if I'm in love with the color or the bottle the most, because both have me head over heels.

7. Frends Earphones
I've never truly been crazy over big ol' headphones and have tended to stay with the small earphones that don't mess up your hair - but have you seen how cute these Frends headphones are?! They're shiny and cute and play music and...are just the love of my life at the moment. Most of the time I'll be rocking these headphones...like right now.

8. Matte About You Polish By Essie
So, maybe I'm a little behind on this nail trend, but I'm really digging the Matte About You polish from Essie. Just like the name, it's a clear polish to put on your colored nails to give it an instant matte effect. Although I love glossy and shiny things, sometimes I want my nails to look a bit different. This polish kind of gives your nail color a hipster-y effect. Love!

9. BCBG Paris Darron Pumps
OMG, of course I had to start of my October favorites with a pair of shoes! These BCBG Paris Darron pumps are the best statement shoes in my life right now. The gold studs that line the straps are just to die for, and they're oh-so comfortable...which is a good thing because I want to wear them all the time.

Spread The Sparkle - Week 4

Spread the Sparkle - One Direction, 5 Seconds of Summer, Birthday, Concert, Tulsa Oklahoma

Can you believe that this is the final week of my Spread The Sparkle birthday giveaway? I hope that the beginning of your fall was special, because I know mine was even more than that. I spent the magical first day of autumn in Tulsa, Oklahoma to celebrate my birthday with One Direction and 5 Seconds of Summer!

There's no denying it, I'm a major die-hard fan girl from head to toe, so  you can just imagine my sobbing, heart racing, girly screaming self when I landed fourth row to the concert. For me, it was a trip that was full of memories with a night that I will never let myself forget (I'm still re-watching the night through all the videos I took). OK, before I completely start rambling and giving a second by second description of the concert, I want to touch on some of the fun I had elsewhere in good ol' Tulsa.

After a few plane rides and lack of sleep from part excitement and utter exhaustion, I decided that I'd kick off my birthday with a little relaxation. But let's be real, I also wanted to get super pampered and all prettied up for the big night in front of me. So, I landed myself at Jnar's Hair Salon and Spa. You never truly realize how hectic and quick life is until you're put in a relaxing dark room lit by candle light. The moment I walked in I instantly relaxed. Done by the lovely Jnar herself, I first started with a facial that left my face feeling sweet and smooth. Then I decided to curl up my long locks so I could overwhelm the One Direction boys with my hair flip (get it?). If you ever find yourself in Tulsa, make it your first priority to stop at Jnar's. Not only is she talented, but Jnar is amazingly sweet and gave me a great start to my birthday trip!

Now that my outerself was soothed, it was time to soothe the soul with something that can put a smile on anyone's face...chocolate! I decided to stop at the highly recommended Glacier's Confection in downtown Tulsa. The sweet aroma of chocolate instantly hits you when you walk in the quaint family run shop, then the overwhelming decision of picking out what chocolate your heart desires kicks in. I was literally a kid in a candy store. Picking out a variety of sweet treats I left with a box full of chocolates, a smile on my face, and a growling tummy. Want some? You can shop their chocolates online!

I'll try to make this short and sweet, but in simple terms the concert was amazing. There are so many words that I can describe it as, and maybe I'm being a little too over dramatic about it all, but this fan girl was filled to the brim with excitement from the moment I arrived at BOK Center to the moment I left. You never truly realize that you're standing there a mere feet away from your idols until you're leaving. I'm sure I looked identical to all the other screaming and sobbing (yes, I cried, guilty!) girls around me, but I like to think that my Charlotte Russe sequin crop top made me stand out among the crowd. Paired with my Victoria's Secret shiny black leggings and comfy Michael Kor black flats, I was all over the place dancing and screaming. Pretty sure I made eye contact with five out of five boys, maybe I didn't, but in my mind I'll always be determined that they saw this fashion blogger go absolutely nuts.
