Baby, It's Hot Outside

As summer slowly comes to it's highly unanticipated ending, many people like me are soaking up the sun to get that nice glowing tan. The last few days have been so pretty out, and the perfect weather for a staycation at home. So, I pulled my favorite green and blue beach bag from The Shopping Bag and my blue Vera Bradley towel, and headed out into into the heat. This turquoise fringe swimsuit from Elite Fashion Swimwear has got to be my favorite bikini in my closet. It's so fun and boho-y that I just can't get enough of it! I adore the small cutouts on the bottoms and the way the fringe on the top piece moves when you move. So cool! When taking a break from tanning, I let the shade come to me by putting on my floppy beach hat from Marhsalls. This hat was such a great find, I adore the shell pieces around the top giving it a beach vibe. Why not catch up on some reading while you tan? I always reach for Wear Sunscreen A Primer For Real Life by Mary Schmich. This book is one of my many favorites, reminding everyone to appreciate life and to live each day like it was your last. You can listen to it in a video here. To keep up with the boho look that the bikini gave off, I slipped on my jewel bangles and turquoise drop earrings from The Shopping Bag.  These two accessories are perfect together, and the bright colors can really bring out your tan.

Along with their gorgeous accessories, The Shopping Bag also carries home decor, clothing, beauty essentials, and more! I genuinely adore all the items The Shopping bag carries. My shopping bag is practically filled to the rim when I'm done shopping on their site! Plus, for all my lucky followers, you can use the discount 'Closet25' to get 25% off your entire order! How spectacular is that?

One thing I love to use while tanning is my Moroccanoil dry body oil. I love Moroccan products so much. The smell is absolutely amazing, and this body oil leaves my skin feeling soft and smooth! By the end of the day I relax outside with my favorite summer drink, Nestea Iced Tea, giving cheers to this summer!

These Boots Were Made for Walkin'

Howdy Y'all! My summer of concerts has continued with cute country singer Hunter Hayes! I obviously took this opportunity to release my inner cowgirl. I started off assembling my country outfit with a Charlotte Russe pink lace bustier. These bustiers are really trending right now,  are outrageously cute and perfect for summer! On top of the bustier I put on my Charlotte Russe white button down tank.  It was the perfect type of top that was see through enough to show off the bustier underneath. To match up with the cute crochet detail on the back of the tank, I put on my Roxy corner lace shorts. I love these shorts so much, perfect for summer! I added a touch of leather with my Abercrombie & Fitch belt. To add a pop of color I grabbed my quilted pink cross body bag from The Shopping Bag. This bag was so handy, especially at a concert, and not to mention its pretty zipper detail! Next I grabbed my blue Steve Madden boots made for walkin', and that's just what they did along with dancing. These boots were great for this concert, and definitely stood out amongst the various cowboy boots everyone was wearing. My necklace came from a small boutique on my vacation trips. Most importantly, the epitome of country, my blue cowboy hat from The Shopping Bag! I was so pleased to remember that I purchased this hat, because it gave me my country spirit for the night. My silver bracelet and pink beaded bracelet and earrings come from The Shopping Bag as well. Why not get your country on too? The Shopping bag puts a 25% discount off your purchase if you put in 'Closet25' so don't wait! Relive the concert with me with the video of Hunter singing "I Want Crazy" my new favorite song!

Summer Boho Look

Rainy days almost always end up in a warm blanket with a funny movie on, and that's exactly how I spent my day. With all the funny new movies out, I couldn't resist going out with a friend to see a latest box office hit. Since the weather was dull I put on my new Abercrombie jeans, which as always were comfortable. I then put on a boho like butterfly lace winged Free People top. I love this top so much, it made everything feel so fun. It is really light and airy too and made me feel like a butterfly. Underneath the top I put on an Abercrombie white tank. Plain colored tanks are an essential in any girl's closet. You never know when you'll need one to put underneath another item of clothing. To bring a pop of color to the outfit I slipped on my The Sak cross body bag. This little thing is a life saver when you're walking around the mall, since everything is at your hip at all times. It seemed this outfit when for a red, white, and blue look since my shoes were blue flip flops with a gorgeous flower on it. The shoes were really comfortable, and a great find at a local boutique! To go with the silver balls on the flip flops, I put on my silver heart earrings from Juicy Couture, and my Forever 21 Eiffel tower charm necklace. Overall it was a day filled with laughs, fashion, and friends!

Moonshine Jungle Tour

This summer for me has been filled to the brim with various concerts. From One Direction, Maroon 5, to Taylor Swift, my most recent concert was Bruno Mars. He puts on a spectacular show, always keeping the crowd up, energetic, and always dancing! For his concert I decided to go for a fun and simple look...not to mention cooling since I'd be dancing! My J. Crew pink paisley tank was the perfect top for the night. Completely comfortable and admirably cute, it set the tone for the rest of the outfit. To keep it simple, I put on my favorite pair of Abercrombie & Fitch jean shorts. I'm one for dark washed jeans, so it was good thing that it matched the tank! Even though Bruno's concert is all about moving, I had to keep tall in the crowd. So, I put on my Dolce Vita brown strap wedges that I purchased through Zappos. For jewelry I put on my shell necklace, and white beaded bracelet from a small shop I got while on vacation. My silver beaded bracelet comes from The Shopping Bag. My favorite pair of sunglasses has got to be my pearlized pink round half frame ones from The Shopping Bag. On the way to the concert I got pumped up listening to my favorite Bruno Mars songs on my Spotify app! Overall, the Moonshine Jungle Tour was simply spectacular! Get a taste of the excitement from the concert with the video I took, located at the end of this post!

Flower Power

My outfit this Sunday definitely reflects the seventies vibe that was felt as I pieced together each item of clothing. A day of shopping in the sun called for a cute but always comfortable outfit. With that, I started with a simple Abercrombie & Fitch navy maxi dress. The fabulous crochet fringe vest that I found at Marshalls is what really shaped the whole outfit. I love the fringe on the bottom of the vest. It just reminds me of what they wore in the seventies. Shoes have always been my favorite part of an outfit, and these Chinese Laundry tie-up wedges made me love shoes even more. The bow on the front with the floral pattern has crochet peaking out, which ties in the vest perfectly. To hold my shopping essentials, I brought along a Coach wristlet with navy in it to match the dress. The wristlet was big enough to hold like a clutch, which was my preferred way of holding it. For the outfit to be absolutely complete, I slipped on a silver statement ring and a cute summer-y vibe charm necklace from a lovely local boutique I found once on vacation. Overall, this look was perfect for some shopping fun in the summer sun!
